Here is the proper technique to wrap the hand wraps for boxing:
● Step 1: Unroll the wraps
● Step 2: Put the loop of the wrap around your thumb and wrap it around your wrist 3-4 times.
● Step 3: Wrap between each of your fingers and once around your wrist in between each finger wrap.
● Step 4: Wrap it around your knuckles 3-4 times. How many times you wrap it depends on how big your hands are. If your hands are large, wrap it 3 times; if they are small, wrap it 4 times.
● Step 5: Wrap them around your thumb once and then wrap it around your wrist again.
● Step 6: After wrapping around your knuckles, wrap the hand wrap around your thumb once.
● Step 7: Finally, wrap the hand wrap around your wrist once more, making sure it's snug but not too tight.
● Step 8: Use the hook-and-loop closure to secure the end of the hand wrap in place. Make sure it's tight enough to stay secure but not so tight that it cuts off circulation.
